1. Research Specialist — Metamorphosis Network
The Metamorphosis Network is seeking to hire a research specialist to conduct a study on funding for community services in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon. The study will build on the research released by the Metamorphosis Network in 2024. The research will document the degree of underfunding in at least 10 specific areas of local community services and the impacts of those shortfalls. The research will draw on multiple data sources including provincial and municipal reports, statistical summaries provided by nonprofits and public sector bodies, and primary research on public sector and nonprofit organizations. Research staff are expected to collaborate on the research design, lead the execution of data gathering, and work jointly with Metamorphosis staff on the development of a summary report.
