1. Manager, Policy — Professional Engineers of Ontario
The Manager, Policy is responsible for leading the development and implementation of policy that supports the organization’s regulatory and strategic objectives. The scope of work includes conducting in-depth research, analysis, and formulating policy recommendations, ensuring alignment with relevant laws, PEO’s policy development framework, and industry best practices. The incumbent manages a team of policy analysts, works collaboratively with other departments, and drives PEO’s policy and strategic initiatives forward. 2. Director, Government and Stakeholder Relations — Nieuport Aviation
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), the Director, Government and Stakeholder Relations will play a critical role in building and strengthening relationships with government entities, industry and business associations. This role will drive the public affairs agenda of Nieuport Aviation and work closely with partners in the operation of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. The ideal candidate would be an experienced public affairs leader with a track record of developing and executing advocacy strategies in support of business outcomes. 🛬🛫

The incumbent will bring an ability to advance the use of scientific evidence in government decision-making through E4D’s existing projects and experience in non-profit management and fundraising. Competitive candidates will bring professional excellence, exceptional communication and management skills, and an ability to engage with scientists, elected officials, public servants, foundation and grant partners, and donors. 4. Project & Policy Specialist — March of Dimes Canada
Reporting to the National Manager, Public Affairs, the Project & Policy Specialist (18-month maternity leave contract) supports the activities of the department. They do so by conducting qualitative and quantitative research, making substantial contributions to projects and advocacy initiatives, managing funded project deliverables, writing briefings and short papers, and working collaboratively and accessibly with service users, stakeholders, and colleagues in the disability community and beyond.🤝✏️

Reporting to the Manager, Policy and Research, the Policy Development Officer will lead the development of a multi-divisional task force to develop a strategy for the City’s processing of temporary liquor licenses. Through policy research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement, the Policy Development Officer will identify and drive strategic and operational alignment to reduce inconsistencies, enhance efficiencies, and address municipal priorities, economic development objectives, and community safety concerns.🏙️6️⃣

The Director will lead government relations efforts and shaping public policies that promote a framework where EA and its players can thrive. The Manager will create and execute federal and provincial government affairs strategies to set the agenda with the government agencies and legislatures on specific policy issues, as needed.
