1. Policy Manager - Prosper Canada
Prosper Canada is seeking a dynamic and motivated manager to advance their policy and advocacy efforts. In this exciting new role, you will help inform policymakers of the financial challenges of people with low incomes in Canada and coordinate efforts to identify and promote policy and regulatory solutions to these challenges, including expanding access to quality community financial help services through government programs and investments. Prosper's policy efforts are primarily focused on the federal government, but they also work directly with the Government of Ontario and support regional partners in their provincial/territorial policy and advocacy efforts. 2. Senior Director, Government Affairs - Canadian Beverage Association
The duties of the Senior Director include:
Developing and executing government relations strategies and programs for the CBA, at all levels of government, consistent with industry and association objectives.
Working in conjunction with the President and Vice President on ongoing government relations files and issues to achieve sustainable outcomes for the industry and the association.
Developing, implementing and managing on an ongoing basis a grassroots mobilization strategy to increase the visibility of the sector with targeted provincial governments and the federal government.
Maintaining and building a strong government and stakeholder network across Canada, a duty which can include significant travel.

This is a co-op opportunity for a student enrolled in a co-operative education program approved by a college or university and interested in gaining hands-on policy experience. As a digital policy co-op they will be directly involved in developing new, forward-looking digital policies in Ontario. 💥
4. Junior Research Analyst, Municipal Affairs - Sussex Strategy Group
The Sussex Junior Research Analyst will work with the Sussex Municipal Affairs Practice, and with Sussex affiliates in other Canadian provinces, to ensure that the needs of municipal government relations (GR) clients are met with a high level of service. The Junior Research Analyst will provide support to all members of the Municipal Affairs Team; on research projects, contribute to client proposals, strategic work plans, submissions, presentations, collaterals, and procurement bids. 5. Business Analyst, Confronting Anti-Black Racism - City of Toronto
Help drive the Shelter, Support and Housing Administration division's efforts to confront anti-Black racism experienced by its service users and its staff. SSHA is looking for an analyst with strong research & data credentials, but also with experience of working from an anti-racist and anti-oppression framework. Your work will support an evidence-based approach to documenting, developing plans of action, and monitoring and evaluating the impact of the division's work to confront anti-Black racism. 😎✨
6. Manager, Government Relations and Public Liaison - City of Brampton
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Public Affairs this role will lead the Government Relations and Public Liaison program within the Public Affairs business unit. The position manages the Government Relations and Public Liaison initiatives to support the Mayor, Members of Councillor and Office of the Chief Administrative Officer. The Manager will partner with all orders of Government (local, regional, provincial, federal) to develop positive intergovernmental relationships and raise the profile of the City of Brampton. The Manager will also be the liaison with municipal associations focused on a provincial and national scale. Collaborating with internal stakeholders this position will also identify and align projects, initiatives and services that could be eligible for external funding.
7. Advisor, Social Responsibility - Ontario Cannabis Store
OCS are looking for an Advisor, Social Responsibility, to join their team. Reporting to the Manager, Social Responsibility, you will support in the management, development, execution, and evaluation of the OCS’s first three-year Social Responsibility (SR) Strategy. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to implement and drive their newly approved SR initiatives while working closely with internal and external stakeholders. 12. National Research and Policy Analyst - Canadian Mental Health Association
The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is seeking qualified applicants for the role of National Research and Policy Analyst to join the National team for a one-year contract (parental leave). They are looking for a Research and Policy Analyst to work closely with the Research & Public Policy team in identifying and producing written analyses in response to key public policy issues, leading research projects, analysing legislation and public policy, supporting their government relations work, and investigating trends and opportunities. 📚
13. Research Officer - International Centre for Tax and Development
The Munk School is recruiting a full-time Research Officer to work with projects at the University of Toronto associated with the International Centre for Tax and Development (ICTD), including the Local Government Revenue Initiative (LoGRI). The role will involve providing research and knowledge mobilization assistance to LoGRI and ICTD more broadly. ICTD is a global policy research network devoted to improving tax policy and administration, with a specific regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa and an overall focus on low- and middle-income countries. Based at the Munk School, LoGRI is an initiative of ICTD with a mandate to develop policy-relevant research, knowledge, expertise, and tools to support local governments in lower-income countries. LoGRI will also work directly with government partners to successfully implement innovative reform strategies informed by research.
The role will be based primarily in Toronto, but will involve substantial overseas travel, primarily in Africa. 💰💰

The Indigenous Affairs Office (IAO) is seeking a strong Indigenous leader who will contribute to achieving objectives of the IAO, including supporting divisions in their work with First Nations, Métis and Inuit, strengthening the City's relationship with Indigenous communities and advancing truth, reconciliation and justice in the City of Toronto.
