1. Workstream Manager, Enterpreneurship Policy - Brookfield Institute for Innovation & Entrpreneurship
The Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship (BII+E) is looking for a Work Stream Manager, Entrepreneurship Policy to lead their work mapping entrepreneurship, start-up and scale-up activity across Canada to better understand the areas of growth and opportunity. You will help inform thoughtful public policies that will enable Canadian entrepreneurs and their firms—from different sizes, regions, and sectors—to harness opportunities, better understand barriers, and tools and resources they need to succeed.🧰🔨🔧
As a Work Stream Manager, you will oversee the Brookfield Institute’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystems Work Stream in consultation with the Director of Policy and Research [Eds. good people], designing and executing a work stream strategy. You will develop, engage and maintain strategic local, national and international partnerships, and develop networks with government, industry and community partners to explore, secure and deliver new projects and collaboratively advance work stream impact goals. You will also represent BII+E at key events, conferences and media.
2. Senior Associate, Design Services - Blueprint
Blueprint is a non-profit, mission-driven research organization dedicated to improving the social and economic well-being of Canadians by helping clients solve complex public policy challenges. They are seeking a Senior Associate to support their Design Services work. The chosen candidate will work with team members [Eds. good people] to support the design and implementation of a wide variety of policies, programs and services designed to increase the social and economic well-being of Canadians. You’ll have the opportunity to support the on-going evaluation of Future Skills Centre pilot projects, and other projects relating to workforce development, skills training, affordable housing, crime prevention, youth success, and other public policy areas affecting the social and economic well-being of Canadians.
3. Lead, Strategic Research - Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, University of Toronto
The Lead, Strategic Research will report directly to the Director of the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Your responsibilities will include:Identifying, developing and executing strategies for research and development collaborations. Liaising with academic units and stakeholders to support research funding initiatives. Promoting research initiatives to external audiences. Fostering and maintaining networks to build capacity and collaboration. Cultivating ongoing, high-profile prospective partnerships that advance strategic agendas. Promoting advance institute interests to industry representatives and government officials. Promoting research programs to potential industry collaborators. Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importance. 🎓🎓
4. Analyst, Clean Energy Technologies - Dunsky
At Dunsky, Analysts play an important role supporting work designing and evaluating clean energy strategies. Their tasks may include: developing, applying and improving analytical models and tools to assess energy saving opportunities; conducting analysis of energy use and market data to support the design and evaluation of clean energy programs and policies; conducting primary research such as surveys with market actors and gathering information on market dynamics. The successful candidate will contribute to impactful projects for clients across Canada and the U.S. and advise key decision-makers and influencers on sustainable energy strategies. 💨☀️
5. Senior Manager, Government Relations and Public Affairs - City of Brampton
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Projects, Policy and Liaison; this role will lead the Government Relations and Public Affairs team. The Senior Manager of Government Relations and Public Affairs will be responsible for partnering with all orders of Government (local, regional, provincial, federal) to develop positive intergovernmental relationships and raise the profile of the City of Brampton. The role is also responsible for developing and articulating, in concert with the corporate policy team, the impact, relevance and value proposition for Brampton in the public sector. Collaborating with internal stakeholders the role will lead the identification and alignment of projects, initiatives and services that could be eligible for external funding.

7. Senior Research Associate (2 Positions) - Diversity Institute, Ryerson University
The Senior Research Associate is responsible for managing the research staff of the Diversity Institute on a day-to-day basis, and provides professional assistance to the Director in all matters relating to Institute’s research and administration. In addition to education, training and mentoring of the Institute’s research staff (7-10 people), advising graduate students, and sharing ideas and approaches and working cooperatively with all Diversity Institute professionals, you will also act on Director’s behalf in his/her absence. The successful candidate will oversee all research design and methodology, for academic research and customized research on future skills and in association with other Diversity Institute research, writes research reports and papers and disseminates research findings and research results through articles and presentations and in communications with the media.
8. Director, Budget and Tax Policy - Halton Region
Reporting to the Commissioner of Finance & Regional Treasurer, the Director, Budgets & Tax Policy is a senior leadership role that will provide expertise and oversight in the development of budgets and tax policy, focused on key programs and projects and ensuring that Regional Council is fully aware of the financial implications of decisions and that Halton Region’s solid financial framework is sustained.💰💰💰
