1. Policy Advisor — Kinark Child and Family Services
The Policy Advisor supports and sustains Kinark’s policy framework through policy analysis, development, and maintenance. They will deliver leadership and expertise in the research and development of policies and procedures including consulting with stakeholders, drafting and revising policy and procedural content, and managing the agency policy library. The work of the Policy Advisor enables the consistency, quality and productivity of Kinark services related to child and youth mental health, autism and forensic mental health, and related support services. In addition, the Policy Advisor provides advice and support to the agency in strategic planning through environmental scanning, policy analysis, and the development of opinions and recommendations. 🧩🧸👧🏾

This project explores the realities facing workers as well as the policies, and related actions, that could improve working conditions and wages of shelter and drop-in workers. This position is part of the Anti-Racism Directorate and plays a pivotal role in identifying, addressing, and preventing systemic racism in Ontario.
