1. Senior Policy Analyst — National Institute on Ageing (TMU)
The National Institute on Ageing (NIA), based at Toronto Metropolitan University, is looking for a Senior Policy Analyst to conduct policy analysis, monitor and track policy issues and political trends across multiple jurisdictions, and develop actionable policy recommendations to support the National Institute on Ageing’s (NIA) public policy agenda. The Senior Policy Analyst will provide policy advice to the Director and develop policy-specific communications products, and will lead engagement and outreach activities. 2. Policy Advisor — Greenbelt Foundation
The Policy Advisor plays a key role in supporting the Foundation’s policy work, assessing ongoing government policy announcements and directions, facilitating understanding of policies and providing recommendations on the continued protection and enhancement of the Greenbelt. The ideal candidate has a strong interest and knowledge of the Greenbelt (or related areas) and its objectives and policies, takes initiative, and is comfortable working with diverse stakeholders. 🌿📚
3. Policy Advisor — Maytree
Maytree is seeking an experienced Policy Advisor to join Maytree’s Systems Change team. Reporting to Maytree’s Policy Manager, the Policy Advisor will undertake research, analysis, and advocacy that contributes to policy options that strengthen affordable housing and income security from a human rights-based approach. 6. Senior Policy Advisor — Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities
The Postsecondary Education Division / Indigenous Education Branch of the Ministry of Colleges and Universities is seeking a strategic-minded professional who possesses in-depth knowledge of and experience in working with Indigenous partners to take on the role of Senior Policy Advisor. The Advisor will work collaboratively across the ministry and government to ensure considerations relating to Indigenous learners and communities are identified as part of policy and planning processes. They will also develop and promote cooperative approaches, partnerships and solutions that respond to and reflect First Nations, Métis and Inuit histories, traditions and cultures.🎓🤝
7. Senior Policy Advisor — Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (two positions)
Working as part of the Community Housing Equity and Supply Unit, the Senior Policy Advisor will: lead and/or participate in developing policy and legislation in support of the government's housing initiatives; formulate strategies, policy and program analysis, policy options, and a recommended course of action to address issues of housing in Ontario; undertake highly technical research and evaluation studies; and provide project leadership, management and/or participation in the development and evaluation of strategic housing policies, program design, regulations and/or legislation which address a range of issues within Ontario's community housing system.🏠🏡
8. Senior Policy Analyst — Ontario Ministry of Education (two positions)
The Senior Policy Analyst will: work closely with other staff in the Division/Ministry and with school board staff to compile relevant information and play a lead role in providing analytical and research support to the ministry in the preparation of capital program implementation and funding policy advice; oversee a portfolio of school boards to support the delivery of capital accommodation needs for school and child care purposes; and lead the research, development and evaluation of legislation and regulations for School Board Capital Grant programs. 🎓🏫
9. Senior Policy and Planning Advisor — Toronto Transit Commission
The Senior Policy and Planning Advisor will be responsible for providing analysis and recommendations to the Manager, Government Relations and Policy, and leading complex projects and priority initiatives within their assigned area. The Senior Policy and Planning Advisor will support the CEO’s office to drive key CEO and Board priorities in the areas of effective intergovernmental relationships, providing advice and recommendations to senior management and in developing and implementing corporate wide plans and strategies. 🚆🚋
10. Government Relations Officer — York University
Reporting to the Director, Government and Community Relations (DGCR), the Government Relations Officer will be responsible for supporting the advancement of York University's strategic government relations strategic plan by ensuring opportunities are developed and long-term relationships are cultivated and maintained between the University and its key stakeholders which support the university's efforts to advance their institutional strategic priorities. 🤝🏫
