1. Senior Policy Advisor — Ontario Cabinet Office
The Policy Development Unit leads policy activities on behalf of the Ministry of Red Tape Reduction, working across government to develop policies and initiatives that address red tape issues identified through stakeholder engagement or in consultation with partner ministries. The Senior Policy advisor will: lead the development of strategies that support economic development, industrial competitiveness, and technology innovation; identify key issues, provide analyses, develop options and recommendations, and prepare a variety of written materials, including briefing notes, presentations, and policy proposals; provide senior management with information, analysis, and advice to support policy options and recommendations; develop and maintain strong linkages with other areas within the ministry, other ministries, and external stakeholders; and lead and/or participate on cross-ministry and inter-jurisdictional working committees. 📃✂️❗

The Specialist, Public Affairs & Government Relations is responsible for implementing the external relations strategy, identifying and working with target audiences and key stakeholders to enhance the visibility and reputation of Infoway through multiple channels as appropriate. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing the delivery of multiple projects or initiatives to achieve specific business objectives. The Specialist must proactively anticipate needs, plan accordingly, and navigate diverse interests and conflicting priorities typical of a multi-stakeholder environment. 3. Senior Policy Analyst — Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario
As a member of the Market Conduct Policy Team, the Senior Policy Analyst will provide project leadership and expertise in the planning, development and implementation of policies, programs and evaluation frameworks that meet FSRA strategic objectives. The Senior Policy Analyst will work in the Market Conduct Policy unit and be responsible for: leading and/or coordinating projects to conceptualize, plan, develop and recommend policy, programs and evaluation standards; and undertaking/leading all aspects of policy and program planning and development from research and analysis of trends, issues and directions, impact analyses, to the development of options and recommendations and implementation planning. 📝🗃️📈
4. Coordinator, Public Policy — Netflix Canada
The Coordinator role is dedicated to Canada within the UCAN Policy team and reports to the Director, Public Policy, Canada. The role is based in Toronto, Canada but entails travel to Netflix offices in Washington D.C., Los Angeles and New York, and other locations as needed. As part of this team, the Coordinator will be immersed in the unique content for which Netflix is known and support advocacy on all matters related to content creation, production, and delivery. Policy Analysts will be involved in a wide range of policy and program initiatives intended to enhance RECO’s regulatory effectiveness and support the achievement of its regulatory goals and corporate strategies. Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Policy, the Policy Analyst will conduct research and analysis to (re)design regulatory policies and processes related to the legislation administered by RECO for the purpose of consumer protection and enhanced professionalism; coordinate and participate in the research and development of presentations, briefing papers, decision notes; and prepare discussion documents to support regulatory policy/program decision-making. Working in the Parks, Forestry & Recreation division, the Coordinator will develop, coordinate, lead and evaluate public consultation programs and engagement activities related to the implementation of Parks, Forestry and Recreation's $2.7 billion ten-year Capital Budget and Plan, including new parks, playgrounds, splash pads, and Community Recreation Centers all across Toronto. 10. Policy Analyst — Ontario Ministry of Finance
The Municipal Finance Strategic Policy & Research Unit in the Ministry of Finance is seeking an experienced, creative, team-oriented Policy Analyst. The Policy Analyst will provide qualitative and quantitative analysis and advice on a wide range of provincial-municipal finance issues; assist senior staff in the preparation of briefing materials; conduct research and data analysis; develop and maintain a network of key partners and stakeholders; and represent the branch on intra/inter-ministerial committees. This is an 18-month contract with the possibility of extension. 💵🏦
